Our Story

Born from a passion for watercolours from a sunny Bangkok studio

Meet Amo

From pixels to paint

Hi, I'm Amo. By day, I create concept art for animated films — designing worlds and characters on a screen. But my favourite escape has always been the opposite: putting down the tablet and picking up a real brush.

When I moved to London to study children's book illustration, I fell in love with painting outside. City parks, canal boats, a quiet morning in a cafe before the world woke up — watercolour taught me to slow down, look up, and actually be somewhere.

That love followed me to Bangkok, where I now paint from a sunny studio surrounded by art supplies, a 3D printer, and far too many houseplants.

How It Started

Chasing the perfect travel kit

Every travel palette I tried fell short. Too bulky to carry, too flimsy to trust, too ugly to love. I wanted something compact and beautiful — a kit that made painting on the go feel effortless, not like packing for an expedition.

So I did what any concept artist would do: I designed my own. A 3D printer, a lot of late nights, and dozens of prototypes later — including a few that looked more like spaghetti than palettes — the Breathe palette was born.

Compact enough for a tote bag, beautiful enough for a desk. Paint wells, a mixing surface, a brush slot, and a built-in water bottle — everything in one box.

In a world of endless scrolling, painting is permission to put your phone down, breathe, and reconnect with something real.

The Studio

Designed & crafted in Bangkok

Every Breathe palette is made in Amo's sunlit studio in Bangkok. A bright, warm creative space with a wooden desk, a 3D printer, and art supplies everywhere.

Each palette takes many hours to print, then Amo hand-finishes it, fills the wells with Van Gogh watercolours, pairs it with a brush and paper, and packs it into a custom box.

It's not a factory. It's not mass-produced. It's one person, lovingly made, one palette at a time.
